WORK.

Ngaoara is working with children and their families; communities; service providers; NGOs, and government agencies to break the intergenerational cycles of trauma and improve health and social determinant outcomes for our children and adolescents.

Ngaoara aspires to the elimination of violence against all children, and to breaking the intergenerational cycles of trauma responsible for negative health impacts experienced in childhood, adolescence and into adulthood.

WHAT WE DO.

'We utilise strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches, underpinned by cultural education to deliver specialist care, assessments and therapeutic recommendations. Using the same approaches, we provide consultancy and advisory to Government and NGOs on matters relating to the health, wellbeing and safety of Aboriginal children. Our aspiration is that all Aboriginal children throughout Australia know what it feels like to be to be loved unconditionally, and to feel safe, valued and connected to their culture.'
