Tarrot

CANBERRA, ACT

TARROT was invited to the ACT by the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service (Winnunga). Winnunga provides a hub for the Aboriginal community in the ACT and delivers primary mental health care service, with established linkages with community mental health, Gugan Gulwan youth service and child protection.

Unlike Moree, Canberra has a wide range of health and wellbeing services that Aboriginal children and young people can access. Winnunga provides a range of these health and social services to young people, including specialist in-reach for the more complex cases of children whose symptoms require intensive therapeutic responses.

TARROT is fully integrated into the Winnunga service system, with clinical appointments and ongoing care managed by Winnunga staff with available support offered by TARROT when needed.
